The Commpliance Group is pleased to announce that Chris Canter has rejoined the organization as President and Director of Consulting Services, marking the return of a familiar and highly respected leader whose work helped shape the foundation of the company’s compliance support model.

For clients and colleagues who have been with our organization since its early days in 2006, Chris needs little introduction. He was the architect of CommTracks, the predecessor to what is now known as AccuCompliance, and played an important role in developing the systems, processes, and service philosophy that helped establish The Commpliance Group as a trusted resource for communications providers navigating complex regulatory and tax compliance obligations.

Chris’s return represents a significant step forward in the continued growth and refinement of The Commpliance Group’s consulting services. His leadership will further strengthen the organization’s consulting platform, which serves as the second tier of The Commpliance Group’s one-of-a-kind, three-tier service model: placing the right professional on the right project at the right price.

“That model has always been about meeting clients where they are and giving them the right level of support for the task at hand,” said Erin Gumm, CEO of The Commpliance Group. “Chris understands that philosophy because he helped build the foundation for it. His return strengthens our ability to deliver practical, efficient, and responsive consulting services to the communications providers we serve.”

The Commpliance Group’s three-tier model reflects a simple but powerful idea. Not every compliance need requires the same level of professional involvement, and not every project should be staffed in the same way. By aligning clients’ needs with the appropriate mix of consulting, compliance management, and legal resources, The Commpliance Group and its affiliated professionals are able to deliver practical, efficient, and cost-conscious support without sacrificing quality, judgment, or accountability.

As President and Director of Consulting Services, Chris will focus on expanding and enhancing the consulting services available to clients, improving internal service delivery, and helping guide the next generation of compliance solutions for communications providers. His deep familiarity with the organization’s history, combined with his experience building scalable compliance systems and client-focused service models, makes him exceptionally well suited to help lead this next phase of growth.

Chris’s return is both a homecoming and a forward-looking investment in the future of our service model,” said Jonathan Marashlian, Founder of The Commpliance Group and Managing Partner of The CommLaw Group, PLLC. “From the earliest days of CommTracks to the evolution of AccuCompliance, Chris has understood that compliance support must be structured, scalable, and appropriately matched to client needs. Bringing him back allows us to deepen our consulting bench, expand the services available to clients, and continue building around the principle that has guided us for years: the right professional, on the right project, at the right price.”

Please join us in welcoming Chris Canter back to The Commpliance Group! We are excited for what lies ahead and look forward to the new ideas, expanded services, and continued innovation his leadership will help bring to our clients.
