- Over 35 states require providers of intrastate Long Distance services (including providers of prepaid services) to file and maintain tariffs
- Over 40 states require providers of Local Exchange and Intrastate Exchange Access services to file and maintain tariffs
- Despite “de-tariffing” the interexchange and international marketplaces, FCC Regulations still require providers of Interstate and International telecommunications services to post current rates, terms and conditions of service on a company website
- CLECs must file and maintain Interstate Access Tariffs with the FCC to recoup Access Charge revenue from other carriers
